Stonehenge in the snow, February 2009. Despite its location on Salisbury Plain, Stonehenge does not see as much snow as its setting would imply. The figure in red is an obliging Japanese tourist!

An very different shot of Stonehenge and certainly the panoramic cropping is very suitable. Everyone will have an opinion re. the inclusion of the figure in red, but I feel that it does add an interesting and extra element in this otherwise colour deprived scene. Well captured and presented.

I have never seen a picture of Stonehenge in the snow before and with the figure in red or without It I like it.

A very different scene at Stonehenge and unusually uncrowded, Just the one tourist in red adds the finishing touch.

An excellent view of Stonehenge where the snow seems to outline the stones making them easier to see than the usual greenish background. The snow seems to make the stones harder, colder even older! Love the red tourist ... you WERE lucky!
