Thank you all for your lovely comments and no Blondspice, no HDR - all done in PS using a composite of images and loads layering with texture - no idea how to do HDR!

Thank you Sue for your kind reply. The way you have achieved this beautiful image is similar to the way HDR works. For example, if you have a dark grey image, you can prepare a couple of version of the same image i.e. highlights, saturation, toning, shadow etc... and the HDR program will fuse it together into one vibrant image bring out the dark, highlight colours, almost 3 dimensional glassy feel. Love it !

Like the way you have 'bent' the cello, it may have looked like a composite without this.
Maybe the girl is a bit sharp and maybe could do with being a bit warmer like the background, but these are just minor crits to try and help, but I could be completely wrong! Smile
