Buildwas Abbey not far from Ironbridge in Shropshire. Well worth a visit (ask sketch if you don't belive me) if you have the time, lovely and Peaceful.

Good composition and contrast
Nice lead in to the background and superb tones in the brickwork. The light on the curved parts of the stone work give the image a three dimensional look.

Wonderful shot and I love the composition, especially the sunlit trees through the archway.
I would also recommend Buildwas - used to go there a lot when I lived in Shropshire. A hidden gem of a place and well worth a visit. In fact, the whole of Shropshire is one big treasure trove of great places to photograph .. The Long Mynd, Wenlock Edge, Ironbridge Gorge, Coalbrookdale...an endless list !

I still get back when I can Dave as I have family there ! Not as often as I would like, but if all goes to plan I might be moving a bit nearer over the next year ...!
