Nice composition. A little tweaking with levels to increase contrast would have been great IMHO'

Nice shot, good spot.
I like the way it looks here and I like the B&W treatment.
But as above, you could improve it by playing around with curves a little.

Thanks for the advice. I'm a novice to changing colour to B+W, and I wasn't really happy with how this came out but couldn't seem to get it any better. Back to the drawing board!!

I quite like the way you've converted this one to black and white. It almost has an infra red quality to it. That wheel is a great subject, and I like the contrast between the curve and the two pieces of wood leaning against it.

Thanks dave, that effect is totally unintentional! When I've got time I'm going to redo this B+W conversion but the sun is shining and my camera is calling to me!
