Hi everyone
Haven't posted anything for a while as I was on a cricket tour in St Lucia
for 10 days and then I was chasing little owls in yorkshire (which are so incredibly shy). Yesterday I was at the London Wetland Centre and saw this song thrush. This was one of my favourite images from the day. I lay on the grass and this Song Thrush came closer and closer. By lying on the grass, there is more intimacy with the bird and there is a diffused foreground and background, helping the bird stand out.
Please view large!
I hope you like it!

Great use of thirds and depth of field producing exactly what you aimed for, really making the bird stand out.
