lovely candid shots, especially with all the elements in the background. It's funny how mono changed the way I feel about photographs where there are loads of technical stuff like the netbook, headphones, etc... Before seeing this, I really hated the immersion of electronics in photos which were meant to create a mood / atmosphere which was not commercial.

I like the lighting and the tones, not too sure about the lens flare, they seem a little artificial, I would have absolutely liked them if they had been blurry but this way, my attention is totally drawn to them. worth a wholehearted click whatsoever.

I like this shot a lot. I went for an even more daring crop and increased the shadows channel just a bit. Perhaps just a matter of personal taste (both the crop and the exposure adjustment), but I felt it made it all a bit stronger. Great portrait.
