Taken last year when the tall ships came to Belfast. These two girls were an attraction on there own walking about the shore in Whiteabbey.I was still using my old camera. I hope you like it....

This is a good effort. It's not always easy trying to photograph people in crowds. You have little control over the background which is what lets this image down a little. Cropping the image will reduce the different shapes, colours and distractions of the background. Your only other real alternative would be to suggest a nearby location with a much simpler background. Many photographers do it. It requires the minimum of co-operation and the results can be very rewarding. Something to bear in mind next time.
Well captured JIm, the kids seem to be enjoying themselves. I say kids as that is relative to my age, one of the young ladies is proudly showing off her engagement ring.
Nice job considering the shot was taken in a crowd, Andrews suggestion is very often used to isolate the subjects or replace the background in post processing.
