I do believe it dates back to the 16th century. The village is built on the hills and has lots of beautiful scenery to offer. As usual we had a pint of the local ale and tried out a hamburger, both quite delightful, I might add. Thanks for looking, and votes and comments most welcome,

A very fine set from Clovelly which give a real flavour of the wee village: looks an absolutely charming spot, and a spot that must attract huge numbers of visitors. David (twelvemegs) recently posted a number of images from here and it amazed me that he managed so many without a single soul in shot.
Ronnie.
Thank's Ronnie, he may have went to great trouble to get rid of them. Thanks again,

Hi Jim, I was just about to say I love the cottages, and I do. Then I came to the last V11, I have been here many many moons ago when the
children were babies, never got down to the harbour though with the pushchair on the cobbles. Thanks for bringing back happy memories of
before we left for Oz. Great selection on your captures……..Jocelia
Thank you all for your kind words and votes. It was one of many great days spent on that paticular holiday,
