Taken Easter past while on a 1,500mile trip around Ireland. After great difficulty finding this place, well what can i say, it was well worth it. The dog was so friendly i could not leave the little fellow out him.Weather was not that kind, a lot of cloud and rain.Hope you like it.

I like this shot very much. The dog reminds of a print I saw somewhere "Waiting for his master"
A good capture, well done.
Patrick
Because of the angle you have taken this photo, it's in the landscape class (rather than an architectural type shot) and in landscape photography, light is important, very important.
As I recall the sun did come out and shine on Ted Crilley's house for a few minutes and that was the time to press the shutter. OK the dog may not have been there but the light would have been much better. As it is, I would be tempted to crop the sky to just above the chimney and turn it into a panoramic. Without Photoshop it is difficult to do anything major to your photos without decent digital imaging software.
Don't be discouraged if some of your images don't receive a lot of votes or comments, there are 1.5 million photos on this site and it's not possible for every one to receive lots of comments. Just keep adding photos, trying different subject matter each time and take on board the comments people do make.
Remember you do have the option of the Critique Gallery (when you upload, click on Critique wanted); you won't receive votes but you may receive more comments which is what you need right now. Just a thought!
Good luck with your next upload!
Andrew.
