A huge hello and a Happy New Year to everybody. I have been away for ages and am sitting here now because there is too much snow to go out !
Fire is the first version and is a dahlia from my garden and Ice ,which is very topical today Smile , is a hydrangea also from my garden.
We are in the throes of moving although probably not until the end of February. We have to rent as the place we are buying , just 200 yards down the road, needs gutting and extending. We have lived in this house for 23 years so I am rather sad but it is much too big for us to rattle around in ! I promise to get to all your portfolio's but it might take a little while. Hoping that you are all safe and inside from the freezing weather ! Smile

Classic dianah, both of them! But V1 is special, it has an off-centre quirkiness, an unpredictable character. V2 is so calm and clear-sighted by comparison.
Great to see you uploading, and here's wishing you all the best for the move.

Happy New Year Di!
In your absence you haven't forgotten how to do these manipulations nor the impact that they have - and V1 has an especially strong impact given the prevailing weather! Not that V2 is too cold to contemplate, of course, as the ice is relieved by some pleasant purple tones.
Best of luck with the move!

Hi Dianah! Thanks for your greeting on my holiday card. Maybe you, time permitting, could crop off the black edges and turn it into one of these spectacular manipulations of yours.
Both are beautiful. V1 is special with the looser feel, and off-center comp. Colours are exquisite.
