A crysanthemum from our garden..the colours this year were so beautiful. I haven't done any manipulating for ages so I hope that you like this. I stopped at this stage as it seemd so organic..like the very centre of the flower. I boosted the yellow tones as it reminded me of a stained glass window with the light pouring through.
The second version is the original flower.
Thank you as always for your kind comments..it is always so good to hear from everybody.

Two superb images, v2 is beautiful great colours and detail. V1 is so well manipulated, quite stunning.

Thank you so much everybody. The tools I use are not secret at all but I do so many different things and never in the same order, it is difficult to describe. They are mostly on Adobe but I only have the simple version 2. I get the symmetric look by polarising an image and then play around with it with a paint brush and other texture filters until I like what I end up with. ![]()
Superb manipulation, Di. I have been missing these!
Perhaps not so much a stained-glass window per se, but definitely an ecclesiastical vault reaching up and vanishing into a spire: fascinating shape.
Bill
Tow beautiful images wonderful manipulation
Susan
Whoa! I was 'wandering through the thumbnails of images' and this one caught me eye. Just love v1. If you ever do a poster or a large print of it count me in for one, stands out a mile as being a real cracker to have on a wall. Have shortlisted it. Great image!
Dave
Superb manipulation Diana! A beautifully abstract image.
(The original is fantastic too!)
Carol

A very warming image in V1, on this dull damp evening Di.

Stunning image, would make a beautiful stained glass window.
Christine
It really does look like light is shining through it. Very clever work.
Just wouldn't know where to start with something like this Di, stunning work and again to your 1st class standard,
Geoff.
A classical by Diana - the form reminds me of an orchid "mouth" - great manipulation again,
Johanna
