A manipulation on an iris taken last summer. I wanted to capture the silkiness of the petals and and the blend of colours in just one petal. I haven't attempted this kind of work for months, it has taken me ages..I hope you like it. Happy New Year to everybody.

Thanks for commenting on my 'Swish', nice to see you back and with a lovely abstract. You have an excellent technique which I have never quite fathomed.
I too have been off the site for quite a while but hope to be posting again sometime soon. My Mum passed away last week after a very long illness so I have been travelling back and forth between Devon and Worcestershire for some time.
