This large, yellow daisy type flower grows in my garden. I fiddled around with it rather half heartedly but thought that this just looked as though it was either melting or just being formed ! Smile
We are going to the Lake District on Friday for two weeks and I have promised myself that it will be scenes that I photograph and not flowers..I think it is time that I became a little more adventurous !

I like this type of manipulation I did something similar with a crocus but sectioned it off into a tryptich but can I heck as like find it in my photos I do not know where I have saved it!! I love the vibrant yellow colours/tones of this it certain works for me Hope you have a F A B two weeks holiday and look forward to your landscpaes - Elizabeth

What a super image Di. Really beautiful. Love the molten silky look at the bottom, from which the flower grows; and the smoke like trail that rises from the center.

This shows such beautiful colour and manipulation Dianah. It's gorgous.
I know exactly what you mean, I seem to always photograph flowers but so far haven't really found anything to grab my interest. Plus the fact flowers tend to keep still, don't bite and dont move about (too much).

Very interesting Di - for some reason I am reminded of a lighthouse light (I think it's those ridges and maybe the colour too) - having just survived two weeks at sea a very welcome sight!
