I tried to manipulate the white anenome from my last upload but the petals seemed to go grey the more I played around with it.
Another anenome from the garden and an easier one to work on..the original is version 2.This one reminds me of something from Alice in Wonderland ! ![]()
Thank you for all your comments on the white anenome. I am not here very much at the moment but hopefully I will have more time soon ! Hope you are all having a good week ! ![]()

Brilliant! You outdid yourself once more Diana, fantastic creation and a superb original.
Johanna
Wonderful work Di - as ever. you've kept some super detail of the flower. The more I look the further I go into the various "caves" of colour and detail. Its a magical underground world to me.
Helen
I love it when you use this processing, you have created a particularly exotic orchid here. I'm interested in your introduction of pink to balance the acid tones, it's adventurous and jolts the brain.

Thank you so much everybody ! I was a bit disappointed when I saw it uploaded as it has lost some of its sharpness but as people have voted I have left it anyway! I really do enjoy doing these but they sometimes take a fair bit of time..grandchildren seem to have taken that time away from me ! ![]()
Oh I do like V1, fantastic processing makes a superb image.
Hugh
just great
Its amazing how much more you see of the flower in V1
Love the manipulated image but V2 is a real cracker.
Beautiful work - wonderful colour & detail, great abstract image !
Chris
Stunning work! So beautiful in both original and manipulation.

A marvellous colourful creation, such wonderful patterns and shapes. These images you produce are real works of art and are all so beautifully constructed
A gorgeous manipulation. Glad to see you back. Hope you are enjoying your retirement.
Sylvia
You certainly have a way with flowers Di, lovely work.

Are you seeing anyone about this - I have the names of some very good counsellors ...
Seriously love this slightly crazy and I think wacky treatment (I guess you may agree given your Alice in Wonderland analogy).
For me it is a little 'trippy' as in the Beatles film 'Help', all it needs is a blue meanie or two.
Good to hear from you today and thank you for this interesting little masterpiece.

Hi Dianah
I've read your comments above:"..I am completely hooked on these manipulations..." and must say that
I'm glad this teriffic transformation of what is seen (version #2) into what is imagined (version #1), brings such fantastic results and makes you happy too!
Cheers
George
It's so good to see one of these marvellous manipulations again, they draw me in and envelop me, and this one has such depth, pathways like the yellow brick road, waiting to be trodden, it's a wonderland indeed.
Outstanding work again Di, superb detail and color, how you arrive at this is beyond me ![]()
Geoff.
Beautifully manipulated once again Dianah (still cant work out how you do it) I really like the original shot as well, one wouldn't associate one with the other so it's nice that you show where your creation has come from.
You have posted some great shots while I have been away, sorry to have left just votes on some of them.
Fran
