Stumbled across this yesterday, only a few basic tweaks.
Many thanks to Moira for her much appreciated U.A. on "Squares" !

Not sure what this is Rende I will have to come back and see what others say, I like the picture it makes but I am puzzled! Is it something I should instantly recognise?
Whatever it is , its a wonderful find - terrific coloured circles - are they glass I wonder - I also like the pattern that the water droplets make - something in a sink perhaps ?
Gets my UA today

Intriguing, Rende, something that gets handled a lot.

I think the same Rende.

From the thumbnail I thought it was a phone. Lovely colours
I have not the faintest idea what this object is, Rende, nor do I think it really matters! Maybe that is part of the fascination.
It is wet, metallic, a little scuffed and studded with ten discs of various colours. That does not advance my case at all ![]()
But it definitely bears a Rende trademark ![]()
Excellent.

Bill
From the water on the surface I'm guessing out of doors, so presumably not grandfather's snuff box (or grandmother's pill box)...
It's magical and mysterious, and very beautiful.
Moira
Truly does remind of a kitchen drain and then the water would fit in. Wonderfully seen.

Looks like the drainer in a waste disposal sink, I sometimes get extra pees stuck in the holes.
I shudder to thing what you were doing when you spotted this gem.
