looks like General Pinochets water torchure chamber.

i like the way you have taken care to align the chair with the grate and vertical line, and the brolley makes the surreal difference.

Bleak and unforgiving, redolent of times past and not allowing much hope for the future. Not a comment I'd associate with any of your images in the past but this is very different. There is something about this image that combines the prosaic with the bizarre and sends your thoughts in unexpected directions.
This must be one of your best works.

out of the box is such a great place - far less claustrophobic and less musty woody scent lol

beautiful piece - love everything about this theme of images - i feel a tranquil silence about this scene but something makes me feel something very loud and brash could suddenly come rushing in from the side - i love images that makes me feel multiple emotions and feelings

keep the beauty flowing

blUe, I have rarely preconceived an image but this shot into my head & I knew what I wanted for the final shot. thnks for the supe comment. It shows I got what I wanted from the image.

Happy to be number 30/RC for this one Dianne. I love the way you've composed the image and the tones and colour of the work is very competent indeed. I rather think that the umbrella will strike up and dance if I look away, maybe it's just resting on that chair while we look. Love it and agree with Eric, one of your best. helen
