Hi Phil. Not sure why the exif didn't come through, maybe the LR settings have changed. I was shooting in aperture priority.

I assume you mean the small blown areas on the beak and just under the throat. To be honest the light was changing so quickly as the tree moved in the wind that I decided there was little point using -EC. I have quite a ferw others where nothing is blown. I had meant to reduce the highlights a little in LR, but forgot. .

To be honest I'm just happy I managed to get it remotely in focus.

Good composition and I like the swirls in the sky. It looks like you could do with increasing the light smoothing a touch, there is slight evidence of lighter areas in the sky around the trees. Might also be worth knocking the saturation down very slightly.

I really like the tones in this but actually think it works better without the shore in the foreground. Getting rid of that increases the minimalist feel and also moves the boat away from the middle of the frame.

Approaching storm

I like the way the colour of the crop is reflected in the sky and there is good light on the tree. I'm not so sure about the toning on the buildings though, it might be worth masking them and reducing the yellow saturation a little to make them look more normal.

Good summery tones. I would experiment with cropping out the bottom third, to just above that rock half in frame on the left, I think it makes the shot stronger.
