Cheers Ade, they are indeed. By: digicammad |
I like the rock textures you've found in this Ade. Warmer tones than mine and that big stopper is working well, have to get myself one when I have a job. By: ade_mcfade |
Cheers folks. I had a feeling you mAy have popped along at the weekend Richard. By: digicammad |
Nice to see the result of the big 10. By: ade_mcfade |
Personally I would say there is nothing needs improving in this. Well caught, good tones and nicely sharp. By: Nigeve1 |
Shillingford Bridge - Oxfordshire Good composition and I like the swirls in the sky. It looks like you could do with increasing the light smoothing a touch, there is slight evidence of lighter areas in the sky around the trees. Might also be worth knocking the saturation down very slightly. By: bps11 |
Looks nice and sharp, shame there wasn't a little light to just lift them out of the photo. Might be worth trying a bit of dodging and burning? By: victorburnside |
Lovely Summery shot and nice reflections. By: silverfoxey |
Cracking shot of one of my favourite garden birds. We get squadrons of these divebombing our pond. By: Jenny-D |
Love the moodiness of this Pete but why is it so small? By: Goggz |
Good colours and light in this. I think it works better if you crop out the sky though. Try blanking off the top to just above the lone tree on the left middle and see if you agree. By: Valveman |
I like the shot but I think the scummelled effect you have added is detracting from it. The scratches make it more difficult to see what he is doing with his hands and really are not necessary, the sepia tone gives the aged effect you obviously wanted. By: Blakey_Boy |
She's really feeling that song, well caught and nicely controlled exposure. By: graham14 |
Great shot Jeanie, as usual. By: jeanie |
Cracking shot, love the skin textures and the eyes. By: pronabk |

Good catch, some lovely colours in there. By: morpheus1955 |
I really like this. Good textures and composition, makes me want to follow the path. By: ronevo |
I like the way the colour of the crop is reflected in the sky and there is good light on the tree. I'm not so sure about the toning on the buildings though, it might be worth masking them and reducing the yellow saturation a little to make them look more normal. By: SamCampbell |
Good summery tones. I would experiment with cropping out the bottom third, to just above that rock half in frame on the left, I think it makes the shot stronger. By: JacopoR |
Lovely indeed, it needs to be bigger though. By: Fogey |
Great view. Judging by the sky and shadows this feels as if it should be about 0.5ev brighter and slightly more saturated. Is there any reason you kept it like this? By: djh698 |
Not something to make you sleep easy. By: anand_lepcha |
I like your composition and can see what effect you were after. There is a sharpening halo around the panther rock and there is a lot of grain in photo (not sure if that is deliberate). I think the image becomes stronger if you crop out the sky. By: prin |
