Afon Teifi is one of the best salmon rivers in Britain and each year the falls in the distance become a gathering ground for people watching the salmon leaping.

We were there last week, a little too early for the salmon but on the right day to get some nice light on the bridge. The hole in the bridge is to reduce weight so it doesn't crush itself.

Thanks for looking, all feedback welcome.

Ian

Such a good pastoral scene which you have photographed so well.

An image which has clearly been worked through from it's early conception to its final delivery. The point of view seems to be ideal in which to capture as much of the detail in the bridge as possible, whilst at the same time maintaining foreground interest. Your choice of aperture allows clarity in depth. For me however this is only one slight niggle that, being the yellow warning sign. It instantly grabs ones attention and distracts ones eye from this other wise immaculate image.

Cheers Nathan. Funny how different people see different things. When I was processing this I was aware of the sign but not so much I thought it needed removing. Now that you have pointed it out maybe I'll do a little cloning in PS and see what difference it makes. Smile

Thanks for your feedback.

Ian

Nathan's right, that sign was distracting. Nice work Ian, just needs a nude model in the hole...

won't be me though!

Cheers, Goggz
