Okay so I came home from work early because I couldn't wait any longer to sort out my photos from the Scottish meet! lol
This was taken at sunrise on Saturday morning. Ed, Becky, Brian and myself wandered 1 miles down (up?) the loch and found the Memorial Park, which proved to be as promising as it looked.
Exposure was 3 seconds for this one. Very little post processing has been done to it, slight adjustment to white balance and curves is all.
Once again, great meeting you all and a big thanks to everyone, especially Davie, for making a superb weekend.
All comment and critique welcomed.
Ian

The first HC from the weekend meet!
A cracking shot, Ian
Cheers, Paul..
Wow thanks everybody, that was quick!!
Paul, much as I would like to I can't claim credit for the first HC, I believe Ed got that one a few hours ago. I'm perfectly happy to be the second one though and it's nice to know so many people share my opinion of this shot.
Tanya - there is a high likelihood of this appearing on a wall near you (well me anyway) soon. :0)
Ian
A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ image.
Congrats on your awards.
Mike
This is wonderful, superbly composed, great atmospheric backdrop and those pin-sharp reeds in the foreground. All round top shot, well deserved HC
Rob
Simple, subtle and sensational...
Excellent work from the field trip.
All the very best
Dougie
You were obviously one of the lucky ones, Ian, who actually found some colour during the weekend.
This is a great shot, well composed, good FG interest and I love that mist over the water. Congrats on the HC.
Jim
Really great meeting you, and look forward to next year's meet!
Ian,
Yet another cracker from the weekend - congrats.
Andy.
Thanks again everybody.
Davie, it was a pleasure for me too. :0)
Conrad it's happening again next year so get saving up and have a quiet word with Davie to reserve you a place or 2.
Russell, no problem. I've asked plenty of stupid questions in my time and still do. It's the best way to learn and judging by your shot you've learned a load already.
Pete - forgot to say before, thanks for the HC.
Ian
Super shot Ian
Lovely subtle image
Roger
PS - Great weekend wasn't it?
Roger
