Spent a very enjoyable 4 hours at Thornwick Bay last night, thanks to Keithh for the tip on good locations. I'm glad to say the weather was excellent, though I managed to make up for that by getting too close to the surf at one time. Anyway, I found out just how quick cargo pants and a t-shirt dry. ![]()
I have about 4 to post, in no particular order. I think this one may be my favourite. No PS work other than cloning out a couple of dust spots and tinkering with the curves a little.
Thanks for taking the time to look, all comments very welcome.

Thanks Dave, Janet and Rob. I'm glad you opened the thumbnail too Rob. ![]()
Awesome tones Ian, congrats on the EC. well worth it..rgs, Rob.
Thanks Conrad.
Keith I know what you mean but the cause isn't really over processing. The sky is straight from Photomatix and regardless of what tone mapping settings I used it was pretty much like that. It must be some sort of wierd interference pattern. What I should have done was to blend one of the source images, so I suppose you could say it is under processed.
Think I'll have a go at that when I get a minute.

better than choccy box any day ![]()
Thanks very much Ade and Rune.
Choccy box has its place Ade and I like that too, but moody is definitely my preference. ![]()
Looks even better in the large version.
Congrats on the EC.
Penny
That wouldn't be Gary Rigg of Gary and Danielle fame would it?
Thanks Genese, glad you like it. If you lived there you would have to batten down the hatches though.![]()
Thanks Terry, I'm sure you will get it eventually, just a matter of light. ![]()
