Poor jon this is his third appearance in 3 days ..
I was given a wireless trigger for my support flash system..
went to buy some flowers for a bit of fun with the new toy.
£7 was the cheapest ...and to be honest couldnt see any I liked ..
So my super hot model from Leeds had to step in ...![]()
I can see there will be alot of fun with this new toy.
The trigger .... not the model ...
A sincere thankyou to John (alsoppdigitalart) for his user award for my multi piccy of jon and myself.
What a pleasant surprise.Thankyou!!

Beautifully lit and posed - maybe the ideal composition with the instrument as the lute forms a diagonal while Jon's eyeline implies another.
Very good tones too.

The trigger .... not the model ...
Sure there will be fun with the model, too, especially if he carries on playing that instrument while you're trying to set up the flash ![]()

Quote: You are lucky to have such a willing model, Barbs, and a very photogenic one at that
. An exccellent capture, and what a beautiful instrument. Carol
Have to agree and this a super super picture to be treasured for years to come
Great lighting. Caught him wonderfully. Enjoy the trigger. I got one a few months back. Lots of fun setting it up. My BT line and broadband packed up within an hour of first using it wirelessly and I thought it was all those powerful waves flying around the house from the camera to trigger but by time BT came out it was just a fault on the line outside. Coincidence! Enjoy Barb. Paul
Fantastic colour in good detail in stunning light, excellent Barbara, enjoy your new tool I'm sure you will have fun with it.
John

A stunning portrait Barbara, great use of your new toy.
Now Barbara............ What have you got? Why did you try to buy flowers, and why didn't you like them? I can understand you didn't like the price![]()
....... Where they for your "model"?
I think he needs a medal
not flowers........ What are you going to have fun playing with![]()

A super quality portrait, Barbs, beautifully lit - I'd be really chuffed if I'd taken this!

brilliant!
the lighting on this is just right... jealous.com ![]()
Amazing clarity in this image, highlighted with dark background. - Raja.
o girl.
That new lighting system works well i think!
I like that mandolin! It looks pretty old and delicate, like something out of the Renaissance period.
The facial expression works also very well and shows a hint of concentration and the love and enjoyment in music and the arts. So that’s all good!
But Denim Jeans? That’s a bit of a culture clash here isn’t?! ![]()

Lol
Nicely done and it’s a great example in your portrait portfolio.

...so it's a case of lute there be light! Sorry couldn't help it. Everything is set off really well against the black background and brings out the grain of the body of the lute.
Rick
A fine portrait of Jon, as for Rick's pun that was awful!![]()
