Santorini Sunset

The sunset in Santorini is watched by thousands of people, during the tourist season, every evening. It is widely advertised and special trips and sunset crises are available to get into the best positions. 2 of the sunset cruise boats can be seen silhouettedin the picture. In Oia, at the top of the island, the people clap when the sun finally goes out of sight. It is a wonderful atmosphere! Coming away from the area is like coming away from a football match, the narrow streets are very crowded, however nobody rushes or pushes and it is done in a very orderly fashion.

It is indeed a wonderful sight.
