I have recently purchased a set of Studio lights and am in the process of converting a very under-used loft conversion into a min studio/photography room.
I needed a model to practice on and after the Wife declined, it was left up to Oliver to take centre stage.
I used a Sigma 105mm for this, need to save up a few pennies before buying a dedicated portrait lens, and many thanks to all who commented on my post in the ePz forum on the subject of portrait lenses.
Many thanks for looking.

This has the potential to be a very good shot. Its sharp, well focused, lovely expression, but the white balance lets it down, - its was too warm, making the white fur have a red/pink tint.
With lights, you need to calibrate the white balance using a grey card first. As youve shot this in RAW, go back to the RAW file, and either chose AUTO rather than as- shot for white balance, or use the white balance dropper and use the right side of the face, where its white, and it will provide an accurate custom balance.
Ive done a mod if you want to see the difference, send me a message and I can send it to you.
And finally, this image has the Adoge RGB profile attached, - you need to convert this to sPRG for the web for accurate colour rendition in prowsers.
regards
Willie

Thank you all for the comments.
Willie, thank you for your comments, I appreciate them very much, the red/pink tint you mention is actually his natural colour, Oliver has very pink areas of skin around his muzzle and mouth that shows through his fur. He is still a young dog and has a lot of puppy pink about him.
