OK This is the last Black Masked Weaver pic I will display for a while, I promise. need to move on with something else. Hmmm snow pics, Brrrrr I don't think so. Thanks for the encouragement Please excuse the thicker border. Miss G.
Again I used a fill in manual flash to illuminate the whole bird as the nest does give shadow problems.
Compositionally I have tried to make the bird as large as possible whilst keeping him on the right with the bird looking into the Photo and the nest on the left to tell the story. keeping in trend with international competition wildlife rules.
Thank you to all for the votes comments on my work, absolutely fantastic, its very kind of you all. I feel very humble. From my heart, thank you.
Kind Regards,
John.

I love this natural wildlife image. I need to learn more about using my fill in flash because I recently took photos of a bird in a tree with shadows and the birds eye appears black and just blends into the black area around the eye so finding your image and reading the narrative has given me ideas so thank you.
Love how the bird and nest stands out from the back-ground.

PS thanks for the C & C on my latest image - very grateful Grin
