The girlfriend of Dan, my previous upload and the daughter of one of the members of my camera club. Taken at another camera club during a studio lighting evening. Both of them are great characters to photograph.

I WOULD BE MOST INTERESTED TO KNOW WHICH VERSIONS ARE PREFERRED. Thanks

Tough decisionn. They all have their good points. I'll go for the natural look of #3, but #1 is more artistic and #2 is a good B&W conversion. Can't spot any obvious flaws

Patrick

Versions 1 and 2 are head and shoulders winners over the 3rd.... for me anyhow. The skin tones and background separation are much better in 1 and 2. The 45 degree angle of the pose works very well and adds a dynamic edge to the shot

Super portrait; great eyes and angle. I much prefer the natural skin tones of #3 to the artificial ones of the first two, though. Funny how tastes differ, isn't it!

Quite like them all but I'm a sucker for a good mono portrait.

Thanks to you all for your votes and comments - you all seemed to like a different version! I have printed the version you see above and it will be judged next week by an outside judge at my monthly camera club competition. I like it but he may not!

I like all 3 versions and was going to pick version 3 over the others, but the more I look at them version 1 appeals to me more.

All 3 also for me (but then you asked for a preference).

I would go for number 3 because I feel it draws you to the models eyes.

Should be proud of these shots whatever.

Great portrait; like all 3 but do prefer the natural look of #3 which also has more detail in the eyes
