Day 179: Paper tortoiseshell

I spent several hours today trying out a rather advanced bit of folding, but the paper split in the final stages. So instead of seeing the completed model, I’m giving you another texture shot, with one of the interim stages. It looks like I’m going to have to invest in some bookbinding paper. Just need to source it.
Today is just one week away from the halfway stage of my project. Keep an eye out for a few articles outwith the daily uploads over the next week or two.
