One of those cases where the weather conditions were responsible for my choice of subject. It was a very foggy morning today, but I was called into work early, which meant I couldn’t hang around until that wonderful moment that often comes on mornings like this, when the sun just starts to punch through. So I had to look for something that might work. I’m not entirely sure that this was how I pictured it, but I do know that it would have been too cluttered on a clearer day. In that regard, I was able to reduce the apparent depth of field with the contrast reducing effect of the mist.

Well, if that's the standard of picture you take when you're in a hurry, I can only say I'm impressed. It's a great shot, though I'm left wondering what the surroundings are for some reason.
