And now for something completely different.

Taken at RAF leuchars on the day of the air show this year, this was during the Tornado bombing run. The weather was appalling, so I wouldn't expect to see anymore from there by me. Which was a shame, as a friend of mine handed me his 70-200 for the day, which is suuuuccchhh a nice lens. But it won't help when the cloud base is sitting at 500 feet.

It's not a great effort, I just like it.

I was going to go to this but the weather was overcast and cloudy in Rosyth... D'oh! I like the balance of the fireball and the red arrows pilot and jet. Nice work.

Love a good fire ball the colours are great good use of the plane for size and impact against the fire ball.

Thanks folks, just a case of lucky placement really. Although in retrospect, I'd have loved to be looking up from the end of runway as the fighter flew over. You live and learn Wink
