Marilyn Monroe at the NEC

Marilyn Monroe at the NEC by Tobytoes

This is excellent Bryan! I like it far more than another "Marylin" image which appeared on this site recently! It is very dramatic and startlingly sharp and definitely "Black and White"! Well done, I am most impressed!

Bleak House

Bleak House by DicksPics

Excellent image ****, so bleak and miserable looking! The monochrome version lends a timelessness to the picture and is very dramatic but I think I prefer the hint of colour, drab though it may be, in the first one as it adds to the desolation.

Very clever title! Isn't it a shame that we can't all park like this!!!
****'s comment above is clever too!

The Malverns

The Malverns by DicksPics

Excellent, ****, in every way! It looks so natural that you wouldn't have realised that you had had to work on it at all! Well done and well done to all the walking you did when "thou were no'but a lad!" Eh? (Wrong accent for you I know but I "cor" do a Black Country one for this!)

Lantern

Lantern by Tobytoes

An unusual and interesting image Bryan. Where was it taken?
I think the "Two Ronnies" would have approved of the (four) candles or should it have been five judging by the shape of the lantern?
Richard.

Great images ****, clear and sharp with plenty of detail. I like the vignetting of V2, very effective!

Great stuff ****! Those were the days eh?...or was that someone else? It is difficult to imagine just how crowded the "Cavern" must have been and imagine, also, being served a drink by Cilla at the bar!
Mick (not Jagger).

A beautiful image. Excellent composition, lovely reflections and muted colours. All the right components for a wonderful landscape! Well done and especially on a cold morning!

Quite an amazing image! You have created a slightly disturbing picture but with rich colours, excellent composition full of wonderful reflections and sharp focus throughout. Brilliant!
