I captured this shot in Coeur d'Alene Idaho, I liked it because you can see all the feathers and the way the eagles looks for food by twisting their necks over 180 degrees. I decided to mute the colors give it a slightly dark look and the dark spots on it are actually snow flakes since this was taken in the snow. Hope you all enjoy.

A really excellent bird capture, unfortunately the image is slightly spoiled by what appears to be sensor spots throughout. I think it would be well worth your time to look at this at 100% resolution in your editing program and remove those dots.
I know you say they are snowflakes, but they just don't work.

I kept remembering this one - with some irritation unfortunately. I've uploaded a modification: removed the black clipping, adjusted the contrast and removed the dirty specks in the sky. Final editing is important; it can make or break an image - take it from the ordinary to something more special than that.
