Thanks very much to all who took the time to vote or comment.
Yes, the light was great that evening; the sun was very strong, yet warm, no chance of pointing the camera towards the sun until it had gone below the horizon.
The original 6x7cm transparency of this looks great on the lightbox and every time I see it, it makes me want to shoot some film again!
