Taken on a very clear day with just a sprinkling of snow on the tops.
The villages in the shot are Elterwater and Chapel Stile. The path up "The Band" is clearly visible over Lingmoor Fell. The furthest of the Fells, Esk Pike, is over 7 miles away.
