Alun, Ant and Al probably recognise where this was taken.
I decided to drive down Nash Point yesterday. I've never seen such big waves, and they came in very fast too.

superb drama sky and water, love that rush.
hope you let us know next time your in the area.
Wonderful water movement, Yung, feels as though the water is going to flood through my screen at any minute . Carol
Thank you everyone.
It was a last minute to go and so didn't have time to contact you and Alun.
But hopefully I come up again soon Ant and will let you know.
An extremely invigorating, wonderfully composed and exposed lowlight composition.
Excellent shot Yung
Thank you everyone and Nathan for the UA.
Great drama in this one Yung. Very nice....Derek
very atmospheric and full of drama great sea exposure spot on
WOW!and some yung awesome capture nice one
A very big WOW, stunning.........
Looks as if you were in for a soaking here, just as much as the horizon is getting a drenching from that storm cloud: wonderful shot, Yung, and so well timed.
A brilliant image with terrific impact Yung. Proof if proof be needed that you dont need golden light to make the magic happen,
love it ... liking that sky and that rush of water incoming
Dramatic and powerful, Yung. The wave and cloud shapes are so similar and seem to emanate from the same central point.
thats a great choice of shutter speed and i like the way you have almost a point of water heading at you. looks like the wellies got wet with this one
Ultra dramatic.Seems to be rushing straight at you as you view this image.
Guess you got wet here Yung. good comp with that dark cloud
Great composition. Love the stormy sky and wide angle of the shot Yung. Excellent work. paul
what wonderful and very well timed capture, love it,
Wow - what composition and mood. Just love this.
Fabulous Yung, a good sense of power in this image.
The rushing wave mimics the thunderous sky, dumping it's rain along the horizon, spectacular Yung as ever.
That one looks like a wellie filler!
Amazing image Yung, great view point.
Superb Yung and you got my buoy in too The composition makes this such a striking, unique image while the ominous brooding cloud adds to the drama. Would have loved to have met you but then I was in work anyway and with these earlier sunsets it can be a struggle for me to get there. The tides are high at the mo so you were playing chicken with those waves I reckon. You clearly won though! Outstanding image.
A terrific shot Yung showing the 'mighty force' here,
Love the symmetry Yung. Cleverly caught image.
A very stormy and dramatic seascape Yung, very different from the usual serene ones you upload
