Evening.

My dad.
I love him.
I respect him, I admire him, I'm frustrated by him and I'm terrified of disappointing him and myself.

A time of decision making - big ones.
I feel depressed and frustrated and still somehow very driven to succeed...
Makes sense?

Wow Ayelet; that's a stunning portrait and very powerful; capturing a whole load of character that fits your description and focus spot on that eye.
Would be inclined to clone out the details in the distance though, which to me are a bit of distraction.
But of course the technical aspects are less relevant; this must be really special to you

This is a stunning image Ayelet - beautifully taken, full of character and mood. Lighting is just perfect. Top shot.

What decisions I wonder tax your young mind - I'm sure you'll make the right one (but remember, even if you make the wrong one now - you can always take a different course later on - nothing is written in stone) All the best with choosing.

a wonderful and personal image- full of your own feelings. You will not dissapoint your dad so long as you follow your heart - this will lead to your personal happiness and well being and this in turn will add to his pride and joy in someone he cares for. Follow your dream

Ayelet,

Here's a secret all Dads know in there heart,,we want our kids to be safe, happy and if success comes around,,its a bonus.
Like my Dad not all my decisions went down to well but we still laugh and take the P*ss out of each other, even some of his decisions have left me wondring,,dont worry, you'll both get there,,

This comes across as being very personal almost private moment captured beautifully,,love the lighting, reflection on his glasses.

I am off to ring my Dad about a photo,,,
wonder would he do a nude,,,Lol.

Aidan

Only just got to this Ayelet because I wanted to see if you had uploaded anything recently.

This is a superb portrait beautifully taken of a wonderfull face full of character. Your Dad looks a very peaceful and contented person, make the most of him. My father died 40 years ago and I still miss him and wish I could still share things with him.

Remember also that you will not disappoint him if he knows you are happy. Dads always love their little girls, I have three grown up daughters and 11 grandchildren and all the girls can do no wrong in my eyes Smile

Be happy and enjoy life and your Dad will be happy.

Derek
