A little bit of fun for the May Bank Holiday weekend.
We had a trip out today to the Cotswold village of Bourton-on-the Water.
Whilst there we took a trip around Birdland, taking our King Charles Cavalier, Ruby, with us.
She was fascinated by the collection of birds, none more so than the King Penguins, who found her equally fascinating.
I saw the chance to get this quirky shot and had to wait a while, but in the end I think it was worth it.
So here is the Meeting of Royalty, a KING Penguin and our QUEENof the Cavalier breed,
Oh, and seconds after these were taken, the Penguin swam back to the surface, and splashed water over the side of the tank with it's flipper, getting us wet with fishy water.....one up to the birds!!.

Cole, the lady on the gate said Dog's welcome as long as well behaved and kept on a lead....as you can see I used a bit of artistic licence and photoshoped Ruby's lead out of this shot.
