I tried so many times to take an image of this indoors, but just couldn't get it right, so out into the garden we went & I stood it on the small garden wall with the lawn as a background......this is the result, of which I am quite proud.
Just look at those waving arms !!!!!

Thank you for the response to my Buttermilk Osteospermum, much appreciated.

Weather has turned much colder down this end of the country...was even thinking of putting the central heating on at one point, but thought it was a bit too early.

Take care,
Hilary (*.*)

Works beautifully with that lovely green bg and the "arms"! Lovely detail of the flower. Mine are well past many weeks ago, so you must be lucky having them still in bloom.

Heehee...I LOVE the "just look at those waving arms!"...SO right Smile

Hilary, this is one sublime capture. Especially with that natural and so smooth background.

I know what you mean about indoor struggles. Sometimes I'll bring a flower in simply because it's breezy outside and I wanna get some depth using a slowish shutter speed. But I more often than not can't get the light right.

And then it's back outside and ahhh, the natural light sorts it out so well Smile

Hi Hilary
With my wife we enjoy your beautiful pictures and as we agreed, the previous beauty has become an entrance picture of my wife's laptop.
I'm sending warmest regards from her Smile
Cheers
