The garden has come into bloom again after all the awful weather we had.
These were a bit battered, but still look lovely.
Hope you enjoy them.
It was a very dull morning , so wasn't expecting much, so was pleasently surprised when I saw them on my PC.....just needed a little unsharp mask & slight contrast.

Thank you for your lovely comments on my tribute for Luke, very much appreciated.

Take care,
Hilary (*.*)

I do think this is one of your best, if not best images-- I like the lighting and foliage and bud inclusions-- Excellent composition--- a very dear image!

This is very lovely. Great, delicate colour in the flowers and bud while the leaves appear almost velvet in texture. Stunner!

Oh my......I was not expecting this response at all.
Thank you all so much.
I am now looking at it in a different way to the snap I took & can see the beauty that was lying underneath.
Once again....thank you.

Superb composition, the open flower with the two buds like ladies-in-waiting; and the wonderful inky dark shadows behind.
