This is a rose that I bought just a little while ago.
It came as a surprise as I wasn't expecting it to bloom this year, & another surprise was...it's the wrong colour !!!!!
I bought it as a deep yellow, & whenit arrived through the post it was tagged as being Dutch Gold, so what a shock I had when I saw the colour.
Now don't get me wrong, I think it's lovely & I am very pleased I have it, but I am wondering about it's name.
I have written to the firm concerned & have sent a photo for them, but haven't heard anything back yet so was wondering if anyone had any ideas about this........was it just a mistake, or could it be something to do with the soil......
Answers in the comment box please & the prize will be a very grateful Thank YouWink

Thank you so much for your comments on my Dahlia image, very much appreciated.

Still got dreadful weather, all misty & drizzly & cold...got my cardi on this morning.....

Take care,
Hilary (*.*)

Rosa Dutch Gold is certainly a golden yellow colour, Hilary, so it looks like the supplier has sent you something else! Still a very beautiful bloom, though, and very well captured and presented. Carol

This really glows against the soft greens, perfect tonal balance.

This is one very happy mistake!!!!!! I wonder if it is a "sport" of the Dutch Gold.....I would be very happy to have it, it's lovely.

Those on the internet are definitely yellow, but this is a true beauty, and I love the droplets too.

A beautiful rose Hilary, I love the colours and way you've presented it. It looks like it was double dutch to whoever packaged it for you at the seed supply company!
