I still don't know what this beautiful rose is called, & it doesn't look as if the suppliers do either.
I heard back from them via e-mail, they were full of apologies offering me a replacement or my money back, & then told me the rose was called "Lovers Meeting", but when I checked in their catalogue, it doesn't look like that one either, so am still at a loss for a name.
I have now given the supplier the task of finding out for me as that is all I want, not a replacement or my money back, just the satisfaction of knowing........have changed the title of the first one now....
I have uploaded a second version, which is not a crop of the main image, I just went in closer.
I hope you enjoy them.

Thank you for your comments on the first one, much appreciated.

A lovely sunny morning & it looks as if it's going to get better for a few days, so must get some walking done with my trusty camera.....

Take care,
Hilary (*.*)

Two lovely images of this gorgeous rose. Here's a link to a website that might help you identify this variety of rose: http://www.rose-roses.com. Lots of links on that website too

Easy to see why you wouldn't want to swap this lovely rose! 2 lovely images with a slight preferance fro V2 on my part. Great colour, detail and the waterdrops are a lovely addition.

Two wonderful compositions Hilary..I think I prefer the slimmer frame and the droplets on the rose really adds to the magic of the image.

Oh my word...what an amazing colour! Hilary, I'm glad you shot V1 as you did, including the bud in the shot. PERfect. V2's very good close-up portraiture.

I gotta say it's pretty amazing the suppliers offered to refund or replace simply 'cos they didn't have the real name of this strain! Ok fine, it didn't address your query, but that's still some "jump to it" customer service, you gotta admit.

By the way, thank you SO much for you wonderful user award on my murex!! Seriously big grin on my face Grin
