Plenty to look at here - nicely framed between the two posts, pleasing vertical lines in the field, teasing half sign-post etc. Very good. Looks american, is it?

My first thought was 'American', too. Lots of different converging lines. I like the build up that creates. The bottom is a bit confusing for me, though.

Like the lines in the top & bottom of the picture as they draw you in.Works well in b&w.
