I will state the obvious 'this would be so much better without the power/telephone lines' although looking again I am not 100% against them they do add some sense of rhythm perhaps.

Like the way the image concludes with the two figures - yep works for me.

Beatutiful village vignette, a lovely colourful line of houses well cared for, and sunshine. The powerlines are evenly spaced they do not distract. They hold an invisible canopy.

I love it. great composition. I think I would have enjoyed seeing it without the power lines as well. A
