I love this shot. I've tried tons of times to shoot CD's and you're done it so well. The compo and rainbow of colours are great. It's not a shocking or stunning image but it is pretty. And I can appreciate how hard it would've been to capture.

How did you get this effect, like the colours are cascading down, i've taken a picture with my macro lens of the back of a c.d but turned out flatter.

Thanx for liking this picture, Vera and Nick....

Nick! do not use macro, in this composition I didn't used any Macro effects, coz my camera MACRO doesn't supported.... Als no tripod... Anyway, I can help you to get this effect, one thing I forgot to tell you in the descritpion... You can use your tripod to fix your camera, and the hold your cd in your hand, and look at your Viewfinder or Screen, and add torch at top of your CD, set your Camera exposure to
-1.5 and rotate your cd, until you receive this kinda effect. Hope this will help you.

Thanx again for liking this shot.

I like this a lot. Think I might have removed the bit middle left as it's a little distracting, and I feel it will improve the impact of the image.
