I thought I might try uploading a People photo for a change.
This fine looking Gentleman is Bert my Father-in-Law sporting his lovely new hat.
Taken at the Yorkshire Air Show at Elvington on 18th August while he was sat relaxing in the car park after lunch.
Hand held shot 190mm 1/250 sec f5.0 ISO 100

Yes there was a lack of aircraft this year unfortunately.
I don't think it is purely down to the weather either.
I know that Sally B has been struggling in recent years with the cost of insurance, and I'm sure many others will be the same.

a splash of fill flash may have helped a little Doug, but I quite like his expression and the moustache is stright from the officer's mess
