A while since I uploaded anything.
As I have just returned for Holiday in Malta, I thought I would upload a Sunset shot that I took from the balcony of our apartment.
As you can see it overlooks St. Paul's Bay looking towards Gozo, and every evening there is a beautiful sunset to behold.
We had some wonderful weather with temeratures in the high 30's.
Hope you like this shot as it was taken with a fairly basic camera.

Yes, we had a great time.
I cheated a little bit by using the "Best Shot" setting which boosts the reds a little, but looking at a shot taken without it there isn't that much difference.
I cropped out the buildings in the foreground so that it wouldn't look so cluttered.
I bought the Exilim just to take on holiday as it is small and light, and the video clips are really good quality too.
Not suprised realy as it is a 7.2 Mp CCD with MPG4 video.

Great colours Doug, like the pattern of the boats in the bay, someone once told me that with sunsets we need a strong silohette protuding from the land into the sky and I think this would have helped this shot and improved a beautiful sunset.Went to Malta a couple of years ago it's a wonderful island, we stayed at St Julians,weather and food brilliant and people English speaking, honest and so friendly. Well done with this shot.
