The moon as see tonight during the eclipse.
Shot in Raw and processed using Capture One LE.
No manipulation at all.
Not even a tweak of the levels or curves.
Just a crop to 10 x 8 and resize.
Exposure was 2.5 Sec at f5.6 ISO400.

Not the best image in the world, but I am happy with the result from the 70-300.

Not much wrong with this image Doug, I took mine on the spare of the moment and had all kinds of problems with focusing due to condensation on my lense, also I think Jack Daniels didnt help neither (But it did keep me warm)

Oh that's efective. I like the fact that it's only half seen too - makes it look more mysterious. And the fact that it's straight out of camera makes it even more impressive. Very nice shot 8-]

I like this one,it looks like i saw it a couple of times bubbling away in the sky all kinds of reds and blues churning around in the dark.Straight out of the camera,that's magic.Take care.AnnSmile
