Old and closed

Old and closedTotti, what a great location! the door and colour tones around the door work really well, the less saturated colours around the outside take the eye in but I'd try a vignette instead , so you keep the colours of the stone through out. It's crying out for a figure but Like it just the way it is too.

Light Hunter

Light HunterIt has a really graphic feel to it, the mono giving a mood, the figure gives reality within a pattern. Have you thought of taking out the lights top centre or cropping, then it brings the figure out more. It doesn't always need to be sharp to be good..

Protective Father

Protective FatherThe main figure in the image works well and has a strong visual impact, turning it to mono gets rid of many of the distractions as does the radial blur to remove the other figures in the street scene. Have you considered removing some of the white area that is next to the main figure? The viewers eye will always go the the lightest part.

walk and ride

walk and rideI can see the comparison of the cars and horses, the long lines of the walls and fence give it a good composition, have you tried only using the processing on the main focus of the images?
