Its an iconic and often shot scene, but here is my version of Derwent Water. Walked half way around the lake in the afternoon but could not find anywhere that was better than this. Settled down to a reasonable sunset when another tog turned up. He was from Norfolk and has a season ticket to watch Ipswich Town in the same stand, position as mine except he sounds like he is a little further forward. Small world!

A rather beautifully crafted composition of the rather stunning venue, a rather powerful yet rather beautiful sky certainly adds drama to the overall image.

A must take shot when you visit Keswick, though when I have been there there have always been loads of togs.....maybe half of Ipswich's fan base was enough! Wink

These row boats are a classic design. Similar to cedar versions we used to build for the priests at Lapage Craft Yachts in Beauharnois Quebec. That was back in the 60s when I was just out of school. Nice to see these again in this fine composition. TG
