Alarm went off at 3.30 this morning so that I could get ready for the 2 hour trip to Happisburgh. I have only been there once but I absolutely fell in love with the place. There appears to be 3 lots of defences that have been put up to keep the sea at bay, but the sea has won. They have now given up I think. Makes for some great photography. This was 30 mins before sunrise. Was going to call it 'A little bit Ben' as it is the type of composition Ben, who was with me, usually goes for. He has a graphic design background. Like the feel of it. Some crackers to come.

Yeah, absolutely zero! Good job we were there early. You will see later in the week that I found an interesting way to prevent flare when shooting into the sun Wink

Thanks for votes and those who looked BTW

Thanks. BTW in the large version you should be able to see the waves bashing into the defences in the background.

Very much Martin. Its difficult to describe why, apart from the fact that it has all the settings I want. It just fits really nicely in the hand and the viewfinder is as big as that Canon film camera you showed me once. And the files are amazing!

Fantastic shot! Love the colours and the composition. The 'eye of the needle' is in exactly the right place. Glad you left the poles dark and didn't try to wring every pixel of detail out of them.
