OK I wasnt going to upload for a while, but found myself with a couple of hours to spare. I must pay thanks to Ann for the GEA on the last image and all the user awards its really apprecited.
This is an image I worked on about a year ago, and just couldn't get righ. I came back to it the other day when organising a few files, and instantly knew what it needed.
This is a continuation of the "Death of a Salesman" series I did a while back - and is the last in the series (famous last words).
For those that missed the earlier images:
Hang in There
Sins of the fathers
Sorry seems to be the hardest word
Wherever I lay my Hat
I do hope there will be more.... love it.
Drinks gone to his head Creative image Nick.
Thanks Ann for the GEA really appreciate it
If I come up with an idea I will expand on the theme, but I'm currently putting a few stock images together for another DM project.
Coincidentally i was looking through your blog earlier this morning and took another look at this superb series Nick.
The processing on this one is first class.
Works really well and having your own prints on the wall behind is a great touch.
Great piece of work, Nick...love it!
Fantastic work Nick
Terrific. Am off to have a look at your portfolio!!
Well worked Nick.
That lampshade in the mirror could do with cloning or toning down perhaps , then you have the lovely inferred light behind the exhaustion.
Put your finger over it , adds a whole new depth
I like all your pics on the wall.
Lol, very well worked Nick and good to see you doing some DM work again. The collection of photos on the back wall is a nice touch and balances out the composition ... that wall would be too blank without them. Dave has an interesing point about the reflection of the lampshade in the mirror so it might be worth having a play along those lines.
Cheers everyone yes the lampshade was the one thing I wasn't happy with.
Just wanted a breather from DMs Dave, they were getting a bit stale ( plus I've not had a lot of time to do them) I do have a few ideas, which will trickle there way through.
Thanks for the HC Pete
Fine work Nick, deserving the awards
